This prestigious event offers a unique setting and space bringing together top-level national and international scientists, engineers, laboratory managers and editors of specialized and peer-reviewed journals to discuss renewable energy technologies. and their applications and advanced materials with a view to their applications in new technologies and in particular in nanotechnology and desalination.
The conference on renewable energies coincides with the recommendations of His Majesty the King during his speech on the occasion of the feast of the throne in July 30, 2022, and by the release of the law launched by the ministry on the decarburization of Moroccan companies and the alternative based on green energy to replace fossil fuels and reduce CO2 emissions. The conference addresses the support of researchers and experts to our country to reduce fossil fuels, which is around 80% imported. We have recently witnessed a surge in energy prices in gas stations which affects the purchasing power of Moroccan citizens. This international conference will be organized by the Moroccan Society for Training and Research in Renewable Energy and Desalination (ANFRERED) in partnership with several Moroccan and International Universities and Socioeconomic Operators and will see the distinguished participation of professors and researchers from world renown. Also the conference strongly discusses a theme which is desalination to find an alternative to water for irrigation and drinking water.
